pest inspections

Pest inspections are essential as a house, building or surrounding landscaping can be affected by any one of several wood destroying pests. Of particular concern are termites (commonly called "white ants") which can render a house structurally unsound, sometimes in as little as 2 years. Repairs can be expensive, as they are not covered by household insurance.

A pest report locates current activity, as well as old damage.

Each report comes with an easy-to-read information sheet about the damage particular pest cause and the treatments, if required.

We also strongly recommend that you have bi-annual inspections to reduce the risk of future damage to your investment.

We also check for damp environments.

Damp sub-floor has not only attracted termites, but also allowed water droplets on floor boards. This can lead to future decay and collapse of the floor.

The old floor construction has various problems inclusive of termite damage, rot and dampness. Note timbers are in close contact with the ground, which causes various problems.

Our inspections include checking for termite, damage, rot and fungal decay.

Termite damage and fungal decay will affect the adequacy of floor.

Inadequate ventilation can cause substantial deterioration.

Timber props are a common entry point for termites into a building.

Our inspections cover termite risk infestation.

External fences and trees are checked for risk factors.
